Durban-native Barbara Siedle, renowned for her wildlife watercolours, is a leading artist in the field. Her passion for wildlife and environmental issues fuels frequent journeys throughout Southern Africa, enriching her artwork's subject matter.
Her informative and decorative illustrations find a home in many game lodges, serving as cherished mementos for visitors reminiscing their wildlife encounters.
Barbara's art education encompasses the prestigious Michaelis School of Art, UCT and Munich Academy of Fine Art in Germany. Here, under Prof. Kirchner's guidance, she honed her skills in painting and sculpture.
In 2014, Barbara published "Breathe the Dust," a reflective journal chronicling her art career and explorations into Southern Africa's remote parts.
