Robert Domijan

Born in 1959 to Croatian immigrants in South Africa, Robert Domijan's artistic journey began in Greenside, Johannesburg.

After a brief tenure with the air force, his passion for fine arts guided him to Pretoria Technikon. Under the tutelage of esteemed artists like Gunther van der Reis and Carl Jeppe, Robert embraced his destiny as a full-time artist.

His artistic oeuvre, spanning figurative art, portraiture, and landscapes, reveals a keen observance of modern life. Robert deftly navigates various mediums, from oil to watercolor and acrylic, treating painting as a celebration of life’s spectrum.

Robert's works, blending abstract with functional forms, adorn global corporate collections, including Anglo-American Corp., SAUBS, SAA, and Caltex. Through his art, he continues to inspire appreciation for the diverse facets of human experiences.
